Risk Disclosure

Prominent digital-asset, lending, liquidation, bridge, staking, wallet, provider, and tax-risk disclosure.

Version za-counsel-draft-2026-07-14 · Republic of South Africa · Counsel-review draft

Digital-asset lending, borrowing, bridging, staking, and wallet use involve a high risk of loss. Crypto assets are not legal tender in South Africa and are not guaranteed or backed by the South African Reserve Bank.

Values and rates can change rapidly. Borrowed positions can be liquidated automatically without advance notice. You may lose some or all assets.

Smart contracts, oracles, networks, bridges, wallets, stablecoins, wrapped assets, governance controls, administrators, RPCs, indexers, fiat providers, card providers, and KYC providers can fail, delay, restrict, or be exploited.

APY/APR is variable unless expressly fixed. Withdrawals, borrowing, repayment, bridging, and liquidation may be delayed or unavailable.

Audits, tests, monitoring, or bug bounties may reduce some risks, but they do not eliminate risk or guarantee recovery.
